Dreaming Awake

In my dreams, I can be a princess for one day or a belly dancer snake charmer for a thousand nights...

I can play with sea horses and mermaids of ancient oceans or dance around the fire with dazzling stars upon a full moon...

I can grow purple and yellow trees in this lovely garden of mine or dance with blue talking flowers and hug pink koala bears...

I can take a ride with a shooting star or drink a glass of wine, in Venus, with my honey...

Everything is possible, and no one can take that away from me, these dreams are mine...

Renovação da Águia

"A águia é uma ave que chega a viver até 70 anos.
Mas, para chegar a essa idade, ela tem de tomar uma séria e difícil decisão por volta dos 40 anos.
Nessa idade, ela está com as unhas compridas e flexíveis, não conseguindo mais caçar suas presas para se alimentar.
Seu bico alongado e pontiagudo já está curvo...
Suas asas estão apontando contra o peito, envelhecidas e pesadas em função da grossura das penas...
E voar já está se torna uma tarefa difícil!
Então, a águia só tem duas alternativas:
Morrer...
Ou enfrentar um dolorido processo de renovação que irá durar 150 dias.
Esse processo consiste em voar para o alto de uma montanha e recolher-se em um ninho próximo a um paredão, onde ela não necessite voar.
Após encontrar esse lugar, a águia começa a bater com o bico contra a rocha até conseguir arrancá-lo.
Após arrancá-lo, espera nascer um novo bico, com o qual vai depois arrancar suas unhas.
Quando as novas unhas começam a nascer, ela passa arrancar as velhas penas.
E somente depois de cinco meses ela sai para seu famoso voo de renovação.
E poderá viver, então, por mais uns 30 anos."

Quando somos chamados a mudanças em nossas vidas, é-nos dado a oportunidade única de crescer! Elas nunca são fáceis, de facto, mas ninguém disse o contrário... Fácil é permanecer vestidos com os nossos velhos hábitos e padrões, regressar ao porto que sempre nos abrigou em vez de enfrentar o mar revolto. Desprender-se do peso do passado e antigas crenças, para chegar à nossa própria libertação, exige muita coragem, persistência e força! Quem consegue realizar essa dura travessia, jamais olha com saudade para o que ficou lá atrás. Renasce-se das cinzas mais fortes do que nunca e prontos para enfentar qualquer batalha. Vive-se num novo mundo onde não há lugar para medos e voa-se sobre o céu azul com uma visão ampliada.

O meu ano de 2008 foi um ponto de grande viragem... Agradeço ao meu amigo e mestre de reiki, Pedro, ao comparar a minha coragem com a da águia. Fico, deveras, muito lisonjeada e emocionada. Que a força da águia esteja presente em cada um quando a mudança bater à porta.

Would you spread your wings and fly me above the blue velvet sky, where reality is made of our golden dreams?

Would you grab my hand and dive with me in the deepest ocean, to seek for millenarian treasures craving to be ours?

Would you lay by my side, in this secret garden of mine, and comtemplate the stars dancing and shining just for us?

Would you blow my mind away, bless angels every day and refrain love songs, if I let you inside my world?

Would you show me, all over again, something I once knew, even if in this life, your embrace I never felt?

Would you make me remember you by the taste of your touch, by the scent of your kiss or by the sound of your eyes?

Do not know where you are... I just can't help this feeling of you...
